Wanted: Hot Air Balloon Pilots in Switzerland. BALLONS du LEMAN started flying passengers a decade ago. Our constant growth and expanding operations means we are happy to welcome additional people in our team. We fly people all year round in stunning locations near lake Geneva or the Swiss Alps. BALLONS du LEMAN is now accepting CVs from commercial hot air balloon pilots who meet the requirements detailed below. Positions are for the 2022 season, with possibility to renew contract for the 2023 summer season. Minimum requirements are EASA license, group C. Ideally ICAO level 4 or better, Medical class 2 or better, driving license with BE qualification. 500 hrs P1 on hot air balloons, 200 hrs P1 on group C, 60 hrs in last 12 months. Fluent in English, ideally French or German, additional languages very welcome. European passport or right to work in Switzerland, age under 60. Pilots must have a clean safety record. Mountain flying experience and ATC communication skills would be a considerable advantage but not a requirement. Pilots will be trained for all aspects of the job. Maintenance skills or an instructor rating welcome. Management skills and previous management experience would be highly appreciated. All contacts will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
